At Alice’s Passionate Pet Care, I strive to provide reliable, high-quality care to every animal I serve. To ensure fairness and protect both my time and your peace of mind, please review the following policies regarding booking, payments, and cancellations:

Introduction Meetings: Meetings of 15-30 minutes long are free. If meetings need to be extended, a charge of $25 will apply.

Overnight Pet Sitting:

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your dates.
• The remaining 50% is due on the final day of service.
• When overnights are booked, those dates are reserved exclusively for your pets. This means I may turn away other clients for that time.

Cancellations:

If a cancellation is made after booking, the 50% deposit will not be refunded, regardless of the reason. Thank you for understanding that this policy protects my ability to serve all clients fairly.

Drop-In Visits & Dog Walks:

• Full payment is due before the scheduled walk or drop-in visit in order to confirm your booking.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time are non-refundable for that day’s service(s).

Holiday Bookings:

Due to high demand and limited availability, holiday bookings follow a stricter cancellation policy:

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the first holiday visit will be non-refundable for the full amount of the scheduled service(s).
• This applies to both overnight stays and walk/drop-in packages schedules during my holiday dates which are posted in the Pet care page.

Emergency Cancellation Clause:

For overnight bookings, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. However, I understand that true emergencies can happen.

In the event of a serious emergency (medical issue, family crisis, etc.), I may offer a credit toward future services at my discretion, depending on the notice provided and the situation.

Please communicate as early as possible if your plans change due to an emergency – I will always do my best to be fair and compassionate.
